Brian Hoffner joined the Houston Police Department and graduated #1 in the academy. He became a full time firearms instructor in 1985. When Brian started instructing he needed a new holster. After not being able to find a quality holster for a decent price, Brian decided to make his own. He purchased a hunk of leather and turned it into a holster he was proud of. When other officers saw it they had to have one too. Officers began demanding Hoffner Holsters, and Brian knew he could fill that demand.

Hoffners Custom Leather, now Hoffners Ltd., was founded in 1985 by Brian D. Hoffner and has grown by providing its customers with high quality and great service. Brian cares about every customer and considers each one of them his personal friend. He listens to every customers’ needs and desires and fills each order accordingly. That makes a truly custom holster and are the main reasons why customers keep coming back, and referring their friends, to Hoffners for all their leather goods.

Since 1985 Hoffners has advertised by word of mouth only, but still has thousands of happy customers, Police, military and civilians throughout America. They use top quality vegetable tanhides and take whatever time necessary in order to produce the finest quality product possible. They hand fit, hand mold and hand rub the finish to ensure your leather product is just right. Brian has developed a full complement of Kydex products which he calls his Ultrux™ line. At Hoffners they take time to advise as to what product will fit your particular needs and situation. They take pride in every job they do, and it shows in your finished product.
